Bed and Breakfast Suites
Thistledown Farm is a proud and active member of the Ladysmith and Area Accommodations Association*. We have two suites available in our cedar post and beam home.
Each three-room suite has a double bed and sofabed, cable tv/dvd, wifi and ensuite bathroom. The Garden suite offers a private entrance to the yard and garden, and a crystal-lit stairway takes you to the Rafters loft!
Our european breakfast offers a selection of fruits, cereal, muffins, juice and coffee to get you up and going in the morning! Special diets, and access to kitchen facilities, can also be arranged.
There’s room to relax in our country kitchen, idle away the day in our living room …or take in the fields and forests from the patio, picnic tables and benches scattered around our 20 acre farm.
And the farmhouse brings the great outdoors inside – our home built from trees selectively logged and milled on the property. The rocks and natural stone chimney stack similarly radiate nature’s beauty, as well as warmth from our woodstoves, hearth and fireplace.

How to Book Your Stay
If you’re interested in staying with us for a night, weekend or holiday we would be pleased to reserve a place that suits your needs and wishes.
Double occupancy in each suite amounts to $89 per night, with special rates available for longer stays. We add a small fee for additional persons/suite.
Family gatherings and wedding celebrations may wish to inquire about reserving the entire house and grounds. And vacationers who are looking for a little more time to relax, may want to ask about options and arrangements.
Our home and location provide a comfortable base to explore Vancouver Island’s diversity, beauty and special places. And too, those engaged in professional, business and contract work may find our quiet retreat a good place for a longer stay and a chance to recharge!
Daily check-in is from 4-8pm, appointments appreciated, and payments encouraged by cash or cheque, svp.
